I just adored Evan, talk about a true southern gentleman. This is a great coming of age series that does an amazing job of showing how these young ad..Show More »ults grow and mature into adulthood. Whitley and Evan find friendship as the cast asides and build a relationship with each other and the ones that casted them aside. I really like that this story avoided the pitfalls of too much teenage angst. Even though this story was mainly about Evan and Whitley, we got a good dose of all the other friends in "the crew," which builds the anticipation for the next book in the series.
The narrators were okay, some of the southern accents were marginal at best. But overall a pleasant enough listen.
It is worth the credit, especially if you like young adult romance.
This is a cute, funny and short snippet of "the crew" and how they spent their summer vacation. although the story is told from Dane and Lane..Show More »y's POV, we get to catch up with all of their friends. Who know that fixing up a duplex could be so much fun. I am really loving this series and this novella does an amazing job of segueing from Evan's story to Sawyer's story.
Good narration makes for a very pleasant listen.
Definitely worth the discounted price, I wouldn't use a full credit for this.
We fell in love with loyal, loud mouth, inappropriate, playboy Sawyer, but in this book we meet sweet, sensitive boyfriend Sawyer and we love him even..Show More » more. but the good thing about is that boyfriend Sawyer is still so very inappropriate and at the very best moments. I love that Emmett is so perfect for Sawyer and has found the a way to harness all that energy that Sawyer exudes. This is another installment of "the crew" and my favorite in the series.
The narrators were very good and kept me interested. I look forward to them narrating other books.
This series is my introduction to S.E.Hall and I love her storytelling. This is an absolutely perfect end to a very well written series. I love that w..Show More »e don't know how far into the future this story is in the beginning and we just get to enjoy "the crew" and all their idiosyncrasies regardless of the passage of time. It was beautiful to see how they have all grown and matured, mostly, and yet the still remain the same. Life wasn't always fun and games for them but they endured and friendships became even stronger. I really liked that their biggest losses and heartaches were told about after the fact which alleviated some of our heartache. And Sawyer, well his actions just made me love him even more ... awhhh ...
Really good narrators, I was completely enthralled for the entire listen.
Absolutely worth the credit. Just sad to see this series end.
