This isn't the type of book I usually read/listen to but it was recommended by a friend so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. The story c..Show More »aptivated my attention and the narrator was great. It seemed unusual to have someone with a British accent at first but she has a very nice voice and didn't try to over play the characters like I've heard in lots of other books. It felt more like someone reading me a story than a one person, over acted play and I liked that. I liked the character of Nadia and I didn't feel like it was predictable. I'm looking forward to listening to High Stakes.
I enjoyed the story and the narrator was great just like the first. I found the scene with Grayson to be annoying (just tell him what's going on damn..Show More » it) but otherwise was swept up in the story.
I love the Nadia Wolf series, all 5 star stories! I was shocked to hear the narrator for this series when I listened to this Audiobook. The strong Bri..Show More »tish accent is a horrible choice for this very American story. The words are clipped and flat, not at all smooth and easy like the writing. Both the story and the narrator are good separately, but there is nothing complimentary about putting them together. I'd have to recommend reading this series instead of listening to it.
