Using the Kindle edition and the audio edition at the same time is good listening practice as I adjust to my new Cochlear Implant. When both are down..Show More »loaded to the Kindle Fire, they can be used simultaneously.
I don't think male narrator's do woman's voices as well as woman do men's voices but this narrator did a good job. the story was good and kept my inte..Show More »rest. there wasn't any excitement but as a strictly romance novel it was a good book.
Not as strong as the first two entries in this series, but still enjoyable. Even though they deal with violent and frightening conditions such as PTSD..Show More », these books are actually very gentle romance novels. The characters are all genuinely kind and good. There are no external villains.
This 3rd installment was slightly less sympathetic than the first two. It bothered me that the female character was postponing treatment she desperately needed, just to make a point. And her condition seemed to be treated very inconsistently.
Other than that, this is a comfortable, easy to read book for a summer day when your mind isn't up to reading anything too complicated. It isn't great literature but a strong contemporary romance.
This series, about a group of ex service people working at a furniture company in Indiana has been consistently good. There is enough emotion, angst ..Show More »and damage to keep the characters sympathetic and back story to keep it interesting. I don't think this fourth book in the series is as strong as at least two of the earlier entires, but it was still worth reading. There isn't much humor, but you do like the characters. And the ending is positive. Dove does a good job with narration.
