A wonderful chase story with many twists and turns. Great characters, but the detail in the book goes on and on. The author explains many situations..Show More » to a degree that I found frustrating. It is a great book, with surprise? ending.
sometimes you try to listen to a book, and it's soooo bad that you keep telling yourself you must go write a review to save others the torture. the n..Show More »arrator, Mr. J. Charles, was bad enough - worst narrator ever for a terrorist thriller!!! - but a thriller that is non-stop background narration/explanation?!? very poor use of dialogue and other techniques to develop the story. it drones on and on and on. I usually consume a quality thriller in 3 days or less, but this one bored me to sleep - figuratively and literally - so many times that I had to go back and re-listen to parts over and over. a huge waste of a potential
A bit too descriptive of all the details of destruction. And a bit of a disconnected story line. But otherwise an enjoyable read. The justification..Show More » of the antagonist was weak and this left me feeling uncertain of the real motivations.
Enjoyed this book. I would give it four and one half stars if I could. The reader was good. Especially when he had to do the Arabic words. Mispronounc..Show More »ed some English words though. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys espionage books.
I felt like the book had possibilities bet after 5 min I was proven wrong once again.. I love this kind of subject matter in many of the books I read,..Show More » but this book tempts me to read love stories or paper back westerns only. I hope I am getting the message through that this one is not worth your time to listen to it and if by chance you do listen Audible should give you 10 credits for the pain and suffering. I hope I sold you on the idea that there is nothing in this book that's worth your time to listen.
