Lori Copeland is one of my favorite inspirational authors; I enjoy the humor she uses to develop the storyline and characters. Though this is not one..Show More » of her best writings, it would have still been enjoyable IF the narrator had not ruined it. Riddett's reading was choppy and stiff, making the characters seem old and cranky. I would skip the audible book, buy a hard copy to enjoy instead. (I didn't even finish it since I just couldn't take it anymore!)
loved this book. the funniest part was when the skunk got into the mortuary, turned around, lifted his tail, and left his scent in the mortuary. if..Show More » you somehow avoided this "honor", let me say....pee u. no oder worse in the world....stinks to the high heavens.....nothing gets that smell out....trust me I know!....anyway they had a funeral that day......... any way there was a good guy and an extremely wicked guy who hurt or killed everyone who did not jump to his every wish. I truly enjoyed this book. it held my attention, especially closer to the end.
