I had cupcake batter ALL over my oven. The recipe called for baking SODA instead of baking POWDER. Beware all recipe testers!

Another great book by Joanne Fluke! Her characters in Lake Eden, Minnesota are entertaining and the culinary mystery angle is great. Delicious recipes..Show More » included even in the audio version.

For those who like light, cozy mysteries, quirky characters and an entertaining story, I would definitely recommend anything by Joanne Fluke. the Audio version doesn't disappoint either!

This book was really good. I wasn't able to tell with in the first three chapters who the killer was and exactly who died. I also wish they would wait and do all of the receipes at the end of the story instead of right after the food was mentioned, But I still love them and I know that the way it is read is the way it is written.

Hurry up and write more books.

It wasn't deep or particu..Show More »larly earth shattering, however it was a pleasant story and exactly what I was looking for when I downloaded the book. The story was a bit of a cream puff itself. Light and fluffy, with little substance, but delicious for a hot summer afternoon on the beach.

I will agree that the recipes were a little distracting, but it is easy to skip past. Actually I would have liked to have a text file with the book with the said recipes. I don't think the recipes within the book were distracting enough to take away from the overall book! Quit being so snobby, and enjoy light reading for what it is!

Joanne Fluke is one of my favorite mystery authors. My daughter and I have read all her series. I decided to try one of her audio books instead of buy..Show More »ing the hardcover this time. As always, I loved the story and can not wait until her next title comes out to find out more about Hannah Swenson life. I will have to say I found the interruption for the recipes a little annoying as I typically skip over the recipes until I've read the entire story. Afterwards, I go back and look over the recipes. My wish would be to have the recipes in a seperate type file to download.

I just finished this book and wow. What an ending! I can't until the next one!

The narrator is the same and does her always fantastic job.

Overall, if you are a fan of the Hannah Swensen books this is a must! The ending might change everything in the future for Hannah.

This is such a fun book.

I loved listening to this book because:
- it picked up right where the last book left off and answered the cliff..Show More »hanger ending
- its another good, clean mystery
- the narrator did her usual fantastic job
- instead of reading the reciepes throughout the book they were saved for the end. This made it easier to listen to and follow. I hope the next books follow this trend.

If you enjoyed Joanne Flukes previous books and you want to know what happens with Norman - this book is a must and it does not dissapoint.
