This is a fantastic start to a series, it has lots of hot archangels, a villain you can't help but like, romance, humour and a surprise or two! ..Show More »r/>The narrator was really good, there were conversations between women and four or five men with different accents which he seemed to pull off with ease. I think his performance only added to an already good book.
Can't wait for the next three books!!!
Press the 'add to cart' button, it's 12 hrs 45mins of Heaven.
I was hooked from the very start - it was Gabriel's turn to find his soul mate and what a journey it's been - to Scotland where we first find the sexy..Show More » Archangel. I absolutely love love love these books because, as the stories unfold, they reveal more and more of the character's abilities, thoughts, intentions, strengths and weaknesses and the plots have so many twists and turns that you have to just stop assuming, sit back and enjoy rather than assume a thing only to be taken down a completely different path - you just don't know what's coming next.
All the characters in the previous book are included then brought forward to this book. Even the bad guys are all handsome with different abilities and you get involved in their stories too.
Narrator did a fantastic job of all the accents including the deep Scottish sexy brogue of Gabriel which was de......lish.....ous.
Azrael's story is next who's a dark brooding Vampire as well as an Archangel who only wears black - so I can't wait. I just hope HKW will give us a happy ending for Sam too.
Ok ok well nearly! But for a P/R fan it doesn't get much better than this third instalment of the handsome and gifted Lost Angels, it was awesome - e..Show More »very single chapter is just WOW I didn't see that one coming. Great characters that you'll empathise with and love and some you'll hate, some old enemies but some new even more twisted ones that each play their part in this fantasy paranormal romance that leaves you wanting more more more.
The Narration was spot-on as he flawlessly went from English to American to Scottish and so on as he manages to capture the emotional, exciting, passionate and thrilling plot. No 'hot n heavy' moments but just 1 magical heavenly 'joining' that was more emotional rather than sexual. HKW spins a tale that will leave you drained and happy but bereft it's over all at the same time.
You may think 4 books (maybe more) each about 4 Angels looking for their Archesses may become boring however you'd be so wrong as every book manages to bring a different plot and portrays a different vibe. If you haven't already done so then I suggest you start at book 1 sit back and enjoy the fantastical ride as each book brings you closer to to the ultimate battle.... a heaven sent (literally) good v evil war.
Worth a credit? After my gushing review I think you know what I will say ....... a definite, absolute and positive YES and then some for us P/R fans but if you're not a fan of the genre then save your credit and look elsewhere.
