Ramsey (a were-bear) but who is really just a gentle giant, agrees to pretend to be mated to Sara (a were-wolf) to protect her from all the other were..Show More »-wolves from a local pack who only want her in their pack to mate with her. But she was turned by a vicious were-wolf who abused her and so she now has trust issues and is frightened of everything - including Ramsey.
Touching, tender, sensual, sweet and moving all describe the relationship between the two Wereshifter lovers as they both learn to trust and depend on each other. It's also got some great new characters and also some from the previous book and some nasty werewolves too as they all try to save Sara from a fate worse than death.
As with all the follow-on books to any series, I wished I'd of listened again to the previous book - in this case it's 'Beauty Dates The Beast' which may have helped refresh me with the names, places and backgound story etc.
Worth a credit? Any paranormal romance lover should enjoy this book as I did, so it's a definite YES and I'm looking forward to the 3rd book in the trilogy 'Must Love Fangs' (hints of vampires doesn't it) but I'm afraid we have to wait til August 2013 for this.
I loved the male lead, Josh, in this book. He was handsome, kind, and a smart-alack. What I disliked ab..Show More »out this book was the female lead. She was just so dense and so hurtful to Josh. She constantly refused to give Josh credit for being a decent guy for no apparent reason other than he dated a lot in his past. I just got to the point where I was muttering out loud about how stupid she was. The ending of the book also just seemed to drag out f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I really enjoyed all the other books in this series. I think if Maria had not been so dumb and self-absorbed, I would have enjoyed this book more.
