I loved this book and have enjoyed all of David Baldacci's Camel Club books but this was by far the best of the three. I cannot wait to read the next..Show More » installment. Some great twists and turns, that leave you wanting the book to go on forever. I hope they keep the same narrator too because he really brings the book to life. Only downside were the lengthy pauses between chapters when I thought my Ipod had run out of battery.. perhaps that can be tightened up. Don't miss this book, you'll be sorry.
Another great book with my favorites Oliver Stone and the Camel Club. As with the previous books I couldn't stop listening. If you liked the others, y..Show More »ou'll like this one. I was able to listen to it while warm and snug during a couple of days of cold and rainy weather. What a treat!
yes... as always you can have an opinion on the narration. The main character is very well read and yes the female voice is good but I prefer 1 person..Show More » doing it all.
But after a while you kinda forget that its not perfect... the story line is compelling with a lot of twists and turns to throw you off. Itd a good read if you have the ability to really pay attention (I can see that that would be hard if you listen in you car while commuting).
What I find important is that even though its absolute fiction, when your in the story it sounds very believable.
I used to enjoy David Baldacci's books, especially the Camel Club series, but this one just can not hold my attention! I started with this book a few ..Show More »weeks ago and gave up on it before it was half way cause I just could not find a reason to continue! Up to that point everything revolved around the park and there was no suspense, just a lot of talk. Moving so slow I fell asleep several times. Please let me know it gets better so that I can try to complete the listen somewhere in the future.
