This story wasn’t as funny as Half-Moon Hollow, but I enjoyed the story. Molly Harper knows how to entertain, without making the story so complex. It’..Show More »s a light read with some chuckles along the way. This story featured Maureen “Mo” Duvall-Weinsten moving to Alaska after her fiancé dumped her for no real reason. She wanted a freash start and just picked Alaska to get away from her ex and her hippy parents. She begins working at a saloon and since she is in small town named Grundy, all the local bachelors come sniffing around. Cooper Graham is a local who can’t seem to stop coming around Mo, but he keeps saying things to convey his dislike of “non-locals”. Cooper was like the kindergarten boy who likes a girl, so he pulls her hair, pushes her down and just picks on her. Mo hates that she is attracted to the one man who is mean to her, but then keeps kissing her. To top off, she finds out he is werewolf. What’s a girl to do?
I tried reading this book twice, but couldn’t get into. So I tried the audio and narrator Amanda Ronconi brought it to life. She has great voices and she just entertained me the entire book. I think I will keep going with this series, but on audio.
Molly Harper has done it again with this witty story of hard-ass Maggie. She thinks she's the big, bad she-alpha, until she get knocked on her sometim..Show More »es furry butt by the gorgeous Nick Thatcher, the HUMAN who wants to tell the world that he has found a real live werewolf. I love Molly's stories. Her snarky, witty sense of humor is a great escape when things get tough and I need a laugh. I never even hesitate to hit the "add to cart" button when I see a new book by Molly, and it is a real pleasure to find Amanda Ronconi's name a the narrator. I think Amanda does a great job of portraying the characters Molly Harper has written for us to enjoy. Thank you Audible for bring us Molly Harper.
NOTE: Do not eat or drink when listening to Molly Harper's books unless you enjoy snorting your snack out of your nose when you start laughing. I am telling you from personal experience. Also a full bladder is another thing you want to stay away from before reading.......need I say more?
I am sure there is not much more I can add to the great things that have already been said about this book. It is another rock solid installment of Mo..Show More »lly Harper's Werewolf series. All her books have been excellent, so to meet the hight expectations I had for this one is impressive. This book was a joy, it was nice to hear from some of the characters from the prior books and the romance between Anna/Tina and Caleb is great. This book does deal with some domestic abuse, but over all it is a typical humorous, fun romantic story from Molly Harper and a must for any paranormal romance fan.
Also I have to add that the performance is excellent and really adds to the enjoyment. I think this is one series that is better in audio due to the fabulous narration.
