Claire was working two jobs to support herself and her ailing mother. When her boss asks her to work a couple of weekends with him it throws a monke..Show More »y wrench in her second job. You see Claire works for a pleasure party company, meaning she jumps out of cakes at bachelor parties, in a skimpy outfit. Jason, whom Claire has worked for, for several years, is suddenly aware of her as a woman, and begins to manage her life the way he thinks it should be, and this causes a lot of fireworks. This is a cute, mushy, a lil over the top romance book. Simply put a happily ever after book.
The Narrator drove me nuts, I think I have run across so many mediocre narrators lately that I am becoming immune. Listen to the sample before you purchase. The book isn’t bad, if you need a light fluffy read then get this one.
I actually loved this book along with the first book "Weekends Required" Couldn't put either down. I also thought that Allyson Ryan did a great job...Show More » Her female characters sounded a little giddy at times but she clearly made up for it with her male characters. There are some really really bad narrators out there so I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait for the third book in the series and I hope the same narrator is used (but I do hope Beth's voice is tweaked a bit but still looking forward to it)
Altgough it ended nicely as expected, all of this woman body issues were almost too much to take for so long. I understand injecting reality into the ..Show More »novel, but this went on too long for what should have been the more light-hearted romance. and also almost too much of the story came from the sisters point of view
Not the best in the series...but fairly decent. I wanted to hear Ella's story more than I actually like the book. From listening to Ella transform ove..Show More »r the last three books... I was looking forward to Ella getting her hotty hunk.
Declan is described as way more damaged in the other books than this one...and this one is about him...so I was bit confused there.
The car accident was a tearjerker, I must admit.
Nice credit, buy or sale...especially is you have the other Danvers Novels. Just don't expect the emotions to rise like books 1-3 bring..
This book was okay. I didn't like the start of the story. I thought Emma was very disrespectful to Brent in the beginning. He was her boss. I liked th..Show More »e book better after they got together. I thought Brent was too indecisive for a man. The book took a weird turn at the end. It was an okay read.
Towards the end I was irritated with Gwen beyond belief... Her insecurities and low self esteem reply grated on my nerves....
Matty and Megan..Show More » are the funniest things ever.. those 2 girls made me laugh so hard that I had to have looked foolish to anyone around me... I loved them.. the really stole the show... poor Bastard (inside joke)... he'll have an issue for sure...
