When a high school student discovers his father is working with the CIA on a top secret project involving aliens from the planet Tarizon, the project is compromised and Peter Turner must accept exile or be killed. When he arrives on Tarizon, much to his shock and dismay, he discovers his arrival has been highly anticipated as there is a prophecy that an Earthchild will come to Tarizon to lead a revolt against a tryrant who has enslaved many of the planet's lifeforms.

While defending a teenager accused of murder, Stan discovers a secret government project invoving aliens from another planet. In order to keep him from compromising the Tarizon Repopulation project the CIA attempts to recruit him into the program.
After being discharged from the Marine Corps, Stan Turner ends up in Dallas where he intends to finish law school at SMU. In the spring of 1976 he is recruited by the Repubican Party to be county chairman and finds himself helping President Gerald Ford in his campaign against Jimmy Carter. The campaign is marred, however, by an untimely FBI investigation into the financial dealings of a local party contributor, Brad Thorton, and the apparent murder-suicide of Stan's best friend....
Stan Turner is asked by the CIA to defend a woman accused of killing her alien husband and three children. What the CIA doesn't tell Stan is that the woman's husband isn't from Mexico but from another planet.

Videl Lai is dead and Tarizon's cataclysmic war is over, or so everyone thinks, until Tarizon's Intergalactic Fleet refuses to surrender. Then Videl Lai's adopted son, Evohn Cystrom masterminds the escape of Rupra Bruda, the father of the Purists movement. As the Fleet diviantly leaves it moon base on Clarion, Cystrom informs Chancelor Lorin Boskie that they plan to travel to Earth with the intent of its conquest.
Leek Lanzia, who many believe to be "the Liberator" mentioned in a well known prophecy, is given command of the remnants of the mutant army after it is decimated by Tarizon's Global Army's seemingly invincible hovertanks. He must reorganize and rebuild the army if there is going to be any chance of stopping the TGA from marching all the way to Rigomol and overwhelming the Loyalists' capitol.
