High-class madam Katherine Winter caters to wealthy men. She can choose her lovers, but longs for one who can match her in bed and out. Her senses tell her Daniel Creed is that man, but he is a lawman, and dallying with him is playing with fire. Sheriff Daniel Creed has known Katherine Winter is the husband-killer on the wanted poster since she came to his town, but something about the aloof beauty stirs longing inside him. He never banked on the bounty hunter from his past hunting down Katherine.
Introduction, beginning, middle, end: this is the way these short stories are composed. It's not the only way, but it serves my purpose, in that I wanted to have them stand alone and yet contribute to the whole. To my way of thinking, each tale has become an entity unto itself. They are pearls on a long necklace that contribute to the total because they are contained in an Anthology.
