His parasitic computer guide, Brainbox, continues to tell Demetri his only chance for survival is to become the "beta" (lover in the submissive role) to the charming mine overlord, Malstrum. Someone is after Demetri's claims and the precious beads his group must mine in order to have food for survival. Their new enemy is named Flurry.
