When a horde of undead attack the children, Howie tries to save them only to find they turn on him. Eventually a truce is called, and an uneasy alliance begins to develop.
Darren heads to the Isle of Wight, where he gathers more undead and turns the beautiful Marcy. Howie and his remaining, much smaller team go to rescue the living who have escaped there, but Darren traps them in an abandoned hotel and sends his hordes in after them. Even if they can escape, tides prevent them from leaving the island, and they must face Darren and Marcy in a final showdown.
