Beginning with her dirt-poor childhood, her alcoholic mother, and pedophile step father, through her days as the "star prostitute" of the El Jardin Hotel and beyond, hear Magdalena's tale of sex, drugs, violence, love, and survival.
"I wouldn't recommend"
Dances with Prostitutes is the story of the author's life after moving to Costa Rica in his mid 50s and, in particular, his and other's experiences with prostitutes as well as (occasionally) "regular" girls and his fellow expatriates. This audiobook is neither porn nor erotica. It necessarily includes sexual content since to try to avoid it would be idiotic and futile. A sincere attempt has been made to give a realistic picture of both the prostitutes, the "profession", and the men who consort with them.
"Loved this book! Unique. Completely Engrossing"
Clyde is almost 50, recently divorced, and wonders will he ever have sex again? He overhears a conversation that changes his life. Two men his age talk about their trip to Costa Rica and the women there, so friendly and available (and affordable). So begins Clyde's journey into a world he never imagined: a life of sex, adventure, and misadventure in tropical Costa Rica: a beautiful but mystifying and sometimes exasperating land far removed from his native Cleveland.
