Die Jagd nach Kanes Frau führt zu einem weiteren ungeklärten Fall, drei Nachahmungsmorden und einer Untersuchung, bei der nichts so ist, wie es scheint.

Als Medium hat man es echt nicht leicht! Rain Christiansen hält seinen aktuellen Job als Cold-Case-Detective und Medium für den schwierigsten in seiner gesamten Karriere – und für den wichtigsten. Nur auf die bizarren Situationen, die seine Arbeit mit sich bringt und die sein geordnetes Leben auf den Kopf stellen, könnte er gut verzichten. Leider gibt es keine Anleitung, wie er die Pflichten in der realen und der Geisterwelt geschickt miteinander verknüpfen kann. Dummerweise wird er auch das Gefühl nicht los, dass er so einiges vermasselt.
