Why the process of becoming one? The simple fact is that the Church in its current state is not united up to this point. Some may believe that we are and I am sure that is most people's desire, but we are not one. The prayer of Jesus for his people and his Church was that we would all be one as the He and the Father were one. (John 17:11)
We are to be continually building the Kingdom of God on this earth. The Kingdom is suppose to always be moving forward and increasing. We seem to be building, but we are not warring. If you are not fighting, you are losing territory and what you have built is collapsing or being taken away. If it seems like you are not moving forward or even feel like you are falling backward, it is because you are not warring. Every time you build, you are going to have opposition to what you are building. Anything worth keeping is worth fighting for, and the Kingdom of God is worth fighting for.
"Times at hand"
Marriage and family is of the utmost importance to God. Your marriage and family are of the utmost importance to God. If you know anything about my books, many times, and this is no different, I have written books to inform and to teach, but also for myself to learn and to grow. At the time of the writing of this book I have been married over 27 years and my desire is to grow even deeper in my marriage. Many of you are saying being married that long I should have it all figured out, but I don't and I do not want to.
We are going to get to know these 12 men that followed Jesus, who eventually built the Church, who turned the world upside down and died for their faith. Who were these 12? What was so special about these that Jesus would choose them? What kind of character, qualities, or talents did these have to be able to walk the earth with the Son of God for over three years?
He Calls Me Friend means just what it says; a book about friends and friendships. Each and every friend and friendship encounter we have and will have is special with each and every person in its own special and unique way. We will have different interests and things in common with each and every one. Just because we bond with one a certain way does not mean we will have that same bond and interest with another, although you could. I believe there are qualities that are specific in each and every friendship and relationship though.
I wanted to center around the five stages of death and dying, but did not want to just stay there. To better explain, I feel these stages, as they have been presented, only touch upon the emotional aspects. I believe you not only have the emotional, but also physical and spiritual. We have all these interacting with each other, whether you are dying in the physical, experiencing the dying of a characteristic or even experiencing death as you deal with the pending loss or loss of a loved one.
This is a message that has been burning on my heart; the message of First Love. This I am believing is not only a message but a strong principle that most have not totally grasped including myself. Naturally in breaking this down to bring understanding we look at the two key words in this: First and Love.
We cannot hardly imagine Heaven and all it has to offer much less the God of Heaven. Even while I was in Church or a part of the religious system in my childhood days coming to God was not even possible. It was hard enough getting close to the Priests much less to God. It may be difficult for you now to see God as a Father, but through this writing I know you will not only see God as the Father, but also embrace the Father.
"In the Gospel of Matthew, we read that, as Jesus was awaiting His arrest and crucifixion in the Garden of Gethsemane, He went to his disciples and found them sleeping. He asked them to tarry with Him and to keep watch. (Matt 26:38) ("Tarry" meant to watch and pray with Him.) Similarly, here we are at the end times and the great and awesome day of the Lord is fast approaching. Jesus is asking this question again to each and every one of us saying, 'Will you tarry with me?'"
I was stirred to write this because I believe in my heart that there are many who are losing hope. With all the uncertainties and calamities going on in the world and our own personal lives I can understand this to some reason. But the main reason people are losing hope is that we are focused on the wrong things. We are looking at the wrong direction, listening to the wrong people, and getting all the wrong answers and promises from those who lie and deceive.
This fifth chapter of Matthew is known also as the “Sermon on the Mount”. Jesus seeing the multitudes went to a high Mountain (See Experience God on His Holy Mountain) and Jesus opened his mouth and began to teach.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Out of the abundance of the heart flows the issues of life. All of us have hurts and pains that we have hidden deep within through the years. These hurts and pains start identifying who we are not who we were meant to be. There is a new and better way; one in which you can heal, mend and be born again. It is all a Matter of the Heart, because the Heart really Matters. This book will take you through a process of revelation and healing bringing a fresh beginning.
I have been impressed and directed by the Lord to do a booklet on grace. Many things get accomplished when this happens. One of the main things is that he teaches me and gives me greater revelation and understanding about grace. With this understanding, I not only can write effectively but also learn more about my Father and what grace really is. I believe that this is one of the most misunderstood terms in the Church today not only with the followers of Jesus, but also the ministers of the gospel.
Well done thy good and faithful servant; you have been faithful in a few things, you will be faithful in much. Great is your reward in Heaven; enter into the Joy of the Lord." Although we have many blessings and gifts here on Earth, we have many more awaiting us in Heaven. That is what this book is about, the rewards we have awaiting us in Heaven. I Peter 2:9 says, "We are a chosen generation, a holy nation, and a royal priesthood; you are royalty, a king kid; a child of the king of kings."
During my studies of the Bible which is an accumulation of many books, I found that there were many books mentioned that are written in Heaven. Daniel 7:10 says that judgment was set and the books were opened. This does not say just one book was opened, but books. There are things that are recorded in Heaven that I found very interesting and also believe we all should be aware of.
Jesus? What enters your mind and your heart as you read, speak, or hear this name? Does this name bring out anger, confusion, or praise when you hear the name of Jesus? Every name has a meaning which I believe also speaks of your purpose and destiny. The very name Jesus means "Jehovah Saves". Jehovah is the Hebrew word meaning God. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, savior, deliverer, redeemer, friend, and healer. I honestly believe that after you have listened to this book, you will get to know Jesus as the same.
