Now that Ryoma has parted ways with the duke's family, it's time for him to begin a new life on his own in the abandoned mine he manages.

The performance was awesome as per usual. I love that I could tell who was talking with the different characters.

There's a part where Ryoma is telling the former slime researchers about the conditions to evolve slimes but then refrains from telling them about big slimes being a collective of smaller slimes which makes taming impossible. That just smacks as a d*ck move to me. Those researchers have been thirsty for knowledge about the monsters so him withholding seems petty and un-mpathetic when Ryoma is usually a stand up guy. It seems against his character.

One thing I dislike about this volume.

The voice for guys is good but he put no effort into the voice of female characters. They all sound like men which throws me off and makes it hard to differentiate the characters. Shame because I love the story. But still a good listen.

This book was one of the slice-of-life. From here, it's going to get a little dark. The one thing I would think to change would be the accent of the Sounjin family. I think it should have been a bit more Japanese.

The story keeps you engaged and it moves along quickly. Slimes as a super power is something I would never have thought of! Made me look forward to the next episode!
