I love this books series. They are well written and the story lines keep you invested the whole way through. Amanda Ronconi does a wonderful job narrating.

I will not spoil the ending for you all, but just know, it needed to end the way it did. Had it not, I probably would not have continued with the series anymore. And I LOVE Danielle Garrett! Her and Amanda Ronconi are usually a tour de force.

Anyway, here is what I can say without spoiling it. The story felt a bit all over the place. It wasn’t until the last two hours that it started to have a focus. That’s rare for DG. And of course the ending saved the series for me. I now look forward to moving in to the next book and learning more about Winterspell.

Amanda Ronconi is amazing as usual.

The narrator is great and gives a different voice to each character. There’s no dirty language or adult situations. Great for preteens or adults who love witches and mysteries.

So far, I have enjoyed every single one of these stories. They’re cute and interesting and they keep you engaged. The main character is snarky and funny and her love interest is perfectly compatible for her. These books keep me engaged without being too complex. They’re a great short in between read when I need something good and hardy, but don’t have lots of time. Must read these if you’re looking for something cute and lovable.

I have to say… everything she narrates I have to listen to! She has the ability to draw you in with each word! Search her name in Audible.. she definitely brings her own magic to each of her reads no matter the author!
