This is one of Christine best book. I loved this this story and I really enjoyed this story. I like the I in-depth look into the Archangels the older ones and the new ones.

I will absolutely never stop loving these books. The enormous amount of effort and dedication to create such a captivating storyline that spans eons is so enthralling and entertaining. My Entire Being sings with Joy every single time I read this particular series. (love your other series too) .. Well if any of you read this review all I can say is give it your all as you dive into the lives of many and fall deeper under the spell of Nalini Singh and her Enormous Heart . Such an incredible journey for your Heart and Mind in the Guild Hunter Series.

This narrator is so good. I love that I can tell who’s talking at any moment because of how consistent she is with her accents. The story may be one if my favorites in the series. I loved the glimpses so far through time with these two angels!

I loved this continuation of the series with the story of Alexander and the history of his love. Nalini always ensures that I am emotionally invested in her characters and read/listen almost nonstop to see them become who they are meant to be. I can’t wait to see how this world continues to develop!

A love story of the ages, spanning millennia, rich with passion, history, love and betrayal. As the world is nearly undone a great loss turns into a triumph a and redemption. It was interesting to see the story of the war told from other perspectives in other voices. Heart-stopping terror when an old threat threatens again. I loved it. Long, but worth it. The reader is simply brilliant, as she is with all these books, .making the familiar characters come blazingly to life with a unique eccentric each one. I've got 3 now and want to get them all from the beginning. Highly recommend, story and reader. Splendid.

Possible Spoilers:
Prologue starts with Lijuan’s perspective during her final battle. We get the surprise of her secret hankering for Alexander who prefers Zanaya. Then the first part of the story is about young Alexander and young Zenaya. In an aside, we get a little of how Alexander was a touchstone for Caliane, as Aurie (sp?) was for Zanaya. The next part is their relationship; the next, her restoration from the damage caused by Lijuan. It’s sweet in many ways but I didn’t really connect emotionally with the characters. My boo hoo is the minimum of Elena in this story, with just a bit more Raphael.
Eyre does her usual good job with narration.

This was a tale of long lasting love through time in the world on Archangel's. They walked through war, family, death and territory.. but they're live would withstand it all. Beautifully told and many interesting twist and turns...As always some evil just want to linger on.
This world has so many stories and I can't wait for the next.
