A taunting letter, claiming violence and death to the vile people of Washburn County, puts Sergeant Jade Monroe and her staff of detectives on high-alert. The letter states they will see the author's work soon, but, without forensic evidence, Jade has no way of knowing who wrote the letter or its validity.

Third book in series and another good read/listen. Kept my attention from beginning to end. The situations, serial killer/s, are always surprising and twisted.

Although I enjoy the stories I am wondering why the lead female character no longer has any compassion. I hope the Jade character does not seem more jaded on the next book. Narration was great!

That mother! OMG! Sooo creepy! The twins man do I feel for them ..or at least one of them. This one held my Interest from the beginning and only got better. I enjoy watching Jade grow and learn and take on more. The narration is well done
