As Sarah and Julian begin their quest to uncover the truth surrounding his curse, a new threat arises, endangering not only their lives but the future they hope to build with one another. This story is good but I kept finding it went back on the repetitive food - Sarah saying she’s hungry and the food and how much she can eat.. lol. I am still giving it 5 stars because it kept me entertained and I still wanted to know who was after who. The performer is delightful doing Julian’s voice and it helps bring his character out so I can envision him actually talking. I will finish this series I’m sure, I really hope everyone gets their happy ending or happily ever after. I’m never able to stomach books that end on something completely disheartening and that I have to say I won’t ever read it again. We have enough sadness in this world and I use books to escape real life not to be sad or disappointed, especially love stories.

For whatever reason, I just never got all that much out of book #2. There are moments where the main character, Sarah, shines and shows a stunning amount of character growth, but there are equally annoying times when her reactions seem too repetitive. Left unsure I want to hear book 3, let alone book 4.

There were lots of times I tought I knew what was going to happen next, then SURPRISE, the unexpected happens.

The second book is very interesting. I liked the way the plot unfolds, as well as exploring Sarah's new reality, which she discovered to be a princess. Sometimes the relationship between Sarah and Julian is annoying, because it's very ... tiresome (I guess this is the better word to explain). But, the story is good, and has potencial.

Everything I read or “listen “ to by SJ, is amazing. She know just how to hook an audience. I thought after all her Watchers books I couldn’t possibly fall in love with any other characters the way I did before, but I did. I am in it for the long hall with Julian and Sarah.

love this story and it's a great read and listen to through Audible and I can't wait to read the next one and or listen to the next one and it's getting really good very juicy I like the ending and can't wait to see what happens next in the series highly recommend it great author and great person that is speaking the story too as well

or not. I admire and find Julian foolish for caring about the spoiled, narcissistic, extremely immature brat, Sara.
This book is actually quite bad. What's a normal life? The answer is NOT in this book. I want to see her dead, she's not worth 1let alone 6 lives of far more kind individuals
