Bigfoot, the chupacabra, and thunderbirds aren't just figments of our overactive imaginations - according to thousands of eyewitnesses, they exist, in every corner of the United States. Throughout America's history, shocked onlookers have seen unbelievable creatures of every stripe - from sea serpents to apelike beings, giant bats to monkeymen - in every region.
Author, investigator, and creature expert Linda S. Godfrey brings the same fearless reporting she lent to Real Wolfmen to this essential guide, using historical records, present-day news reports, and eyewitness interviews to examine this hidden menagerie of America's homegrown beasts.

The book does a good job of not drawing too many conclusions & instead presents the evidence & witness testimony in a well written & researched book. Like a cross between George Knapp & Nick Redfern, Linda Godfrey is really good at using her skills as a professional journalist to thoroughly research these stories for the most credible evidence she can find, then connect with the reader & convey her findings in the way of a trusted small town newspaper writer.
i would recommend this book if you're interested in American Crytid Animals, looking for a fun change of pace, &/or if you're trying to find something for multiple people w/ different tastes. I mean really,.. Who doesn't love a good monster story?
Really Informative Book.

Clear, precise delivery, However, there were several distracting mispronunciations in the first section, which interrupted my absorbing the material.Good Entetainment, But A Bit Distracting
