Publisher's summary

Cautious to a fault, Lily Eicher strives to live up to her dat's high standards. She's certainly not the kind of Amish girl who would make time for someone as impetuous as the Helmuths' grandson, Aden - even if his lively spirit and caring ways are showing her just how wonderful following her heart can be....

Recklessly doing the right thing got Aden into big trouble. A fresh start at his grandparents' is just what he needs. And shy, pretty Lily is turning his world upside down and making him want to prove he can do good within the rules. But now both must find enough faith and understanding to risk pursuing their dreams together.

Entertaining

"Huckleberry Summer" is a clean and enjoyable story well written and narrated. The focus is on an Amish family and the care and support they give to each other and the community. They stand united in trusting GOD to always help, in both good and bad times. The result is always joyful at the end. I'm looking forward to the next story in this series.

Very Good Writing

Love the characters and the story, which was full of suspense and insight that was the final victory.

Wonderful Story - well written

I enjoyed the storyline. It was great with suspense and passion. It was a bit distracting when the narrator called the lead character Aiden by the name "Adam" a few times. Too bad it couldn't be fixed. All in all a wonderful story.

Name issues

Many times the name Aiden and Adam are interchanged. Need to edit again. It is a good story.

Interesting story- narrator overall good

The ending seemed a bit far fetched, more needed to be said & it wasn’t fully resolved- but overall the story is entertaining & choked full of lessons. I would’ve said the narrator was excellent but calling the main character “Adam” several times throughout the entire book became comical - since his name was “Aiden,” -lol! Overall, I enjoyed it & finished it quickly.

The forgiveness of Tyler.

Another good book by this author. This time the narrator was much better than previously. Her monotone voice was gone and she made the story flow. A very good listen.

A little long

The story was ok. But LONG. I found myself doing a lot of fast-forwarding and didn’t miss anything. I think I would have liked it better if it was about an hour or two shorter.

Eh, not the best.

Sometimes the reader said Adam instead of Aiden, which is the leading man’s name. So that threw me off and annoyed me.
Also, the leading lady, i found her anxiety to be annoying rather than endearing.

Meh

It was all right. The main characters fear and anxiety over every single thing got old. In fact I skipped a few chapters and didn’t miss a thing. It wasn’t great but it was free so I guess I can’t complain too much.
