Named a Best Romance of 2021 by Entertainment Weekly, Goodreads, PopSugar, Marie Claire, Real Simple, Insider, Vulture, CNN, Bookreporter, BookBub, and more!

The Unhoneymooners meets The Hating Game in this witty, clever, and swoonworthy novel following a workaholic marketing manager who is forced to go on a cruise with her arch-nemesis when they’re up for the same promotion.

Between taking night classes for her MBA and her demanding day job at a cruise line, marketing manager Henley Evans barely has time for herself, let alone family, friends, or dating. But when she’s short-listed for the promotion of her dreams, all her sacrifices finally seem worth it.

The only problem? Graeme Crawford-Collins, the remote social media manager and the bane of her existence, is also up for the position. Although they’ve never met in person, their epic email battles are the stuff of office legend.

Their boss tasks each of them with drafting a proposal on how to boost bookings in the Galápagos - best proposal wins the promotion. There’s just one catch: They have to go on a company cruise to the Galápagos Islands...together. But when the two meet on the ship, Henley is shocked to discover that the real Graeme is nothing like she imagined. As they explore the Islands together, she soon finds the line between loathing and liking thinner than a postcard.

With her career dreams in her sights and a growing attraction to the competition, Henley begins questioning her life choices. Because what’s the point of working all the time if you never actually live?

Perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Sally Thorne, Shipped is a fresh and engaging rom-com that celebrates the power of second chances and the magic of new beginnings.

Cute story, but awkwardly read

This is a cute, fairly PG-13 romance. Unfortunately, the voicing of the male character makes him sound like he has late stage emphysema. It's awkward. But is it can get past that, the story is fine.

Lots of good moments I liked

The story was fun and intriguing I devoured this book in a day!
The only complaint I have is the audio quality wasn’t the greatest, it was noticeably muffled

No smut here, move along lol

A quick and easy summer read. Yet nothing stood out so a bit forgettable. Yet most the time with these cute little romances I don't expect to be blown away so no hard feelings. The Unhoneymooners and The Hating Game were mentioned in the summary and that immediately let me know that this will not be as good. Also, be aware the audiobook narrated by Inés del Castillo was muffled even though it was a revision of the first.

We start with misunderstandings and past hurts that keep the characters from being happy. I did love the adventure of the cruise though. The post office was my favorite and I had to immediately add it to my bucket list. Still, it was too perfect. Everything they saw together was one of a kind and breathtaking and everyday perfection like the author was trying to sell this fictional cruise line.

Henley was an okay character. She threw a little too many pity parties I think I actually liked her sister more. Graeme was bland and it wasn't clear why he even liked Henley. And not to mention the side characters had no depth at all. Yet in the end, it was cozy, adventurous, and predictable in a way we hope it to be.

Sweet and cute. Liked that it was easy read. Yes, no sex scenes but cute moments and kissing is in the story thus making it romantic book.

Funny, Romantic and very thoughtful!!

This was beautifully written and so much fun! But it also made you think about very important issues concerning our planet. I also loved the narration, her voice was raspy and so expressive!!

Fun and light read

I felt Hockman did a great job describing the Galapagos, and her writing really did inspire me to travel there myself. I love that Hockman wrote this off of her experience and the passion that she felt when she visited.
The fictional story line was a cute love story. I enjoyed it.
One thing I would change, at least listening on audible, is that I thought that the voice that they used for Graham was kind of creepy and for Henley’s sister kind of annoying. This was my first ever audible book, and I didn’t realize that there wouldn’t be different people reading the different characters. I wish there had been.
Overall, I would recommend this book.

Couldn’t Keep Listening

There is a lot wrong with this one. The audio quality is terrible, for some reason. The story is cliched and boring. The characters are not like able.. Listening to the narrator’s pretend man voice is excruciating, and when she does accents it’s worse. Also, she has clearly read The Hating Game recently, because she recycled lots of the same descriptions, but it wasn’t nearly as clever. I finally couldn’t keep listening.

Fun and entertaining

I needed an escape and “shipped” delivered. The characters were well written, the storyline was light and interesting - although somewhat predictable.
The performance was well delivered with consistent tone and clever voice changes for each character.
