As the influential drummer from iconic rock 'n' roll band The Hollies, Bobby Elliott has six decades' worth of musical anecdotes. Continually touring since 1963, his adventures have seen him beating Keith Moon in a drumming audition for Shane Fenton and the Fentones, being serenaded by Joni Mitchell while she was in bed with Graham Nash, and being offered a job by Paul McCartney to work with Wings.

Loved it. Great narrator for a well written history of the Hollies. Well done Mr Elliott

Had to force myself to take breaks from listening

How anyone associated with one of the foundational rock bands of their time could have taken almost nothing of interest away from the experience was by itself a shock. The fact that they matched a dreary voice to read the account as if it were a pending act before Parliament was equally astonishing. Only because I am an equal fan of biography and music was I able to make it all the way through the end. I do believe that the Wikipedia page for Mr Elliot is a better bit of reading.

Uninteresting story read by an insipid voice
