Beautiful!

Thank you for this well written account of George Harrison’s life. As someone who grew up listening to the Beatles, some of the information was surprising, but not shocking. I was happy to read that George pursued the life he wanted, on a beautiful path he created. Bless him.

Nice account of lovely George!

Very nice! I had hoped for some mention of Leon Russell from the Bangladeshi concert. And certainly one of George’s last great, great masterpieces Marwa Blues. It transcends all.

Excellent!

I loved this book from start to finish. There were several things in it I never knew, so I never left me feel like I was hearing the same old, same old. Highly recommend

A great read

I appreciated the way this book balanced George's material successes and struggles along with his spiritual achievements and challenges. It felt like George would be happy with this honest, yet inspiring biography.

Thoroughly Sunny

A thorough investigation into the spiritual life of George Harrison. The reader did a great job of differentiating British regional accents.

Skip the Beatle Bits

Imagine a third grader writing a book report and trying not to let the teacher know it was all paraphrased and plagiarized from Wikipedia. That pretty well covers the Beatles chapters, chock full with tired stories and other bits of information that have been debunked years ago. A pox on those chapters. The rest of the book, however, is much better, filled with interesting and useful information about Harrison beyond the Fab Four. Here's a man who moved from Mop Top to one searching for and finding some level of spiritual fulfillment. I liked how the story included spiritual pursuits, family matters, and an ongoing musical career. It was great.
