Most zombie stories are written from a males perspective. It is a breath of fresh air to get a woman’s point of view.

I thought the story was really interesting. What I like the most about the writing is that there is not a lot of repeated information. I've noticed that a lot of fiction audiobooks have a lot of repetition of the characters qualities and thoughts. I really appreciate the character development and the smooth storytelling from one to the other.

The narrator is really good, being able to switch from one character to the other and it's clear which character is being represented. The speech is well defined and I can understand without having to back up to replay sentences. Based on this first book, I'll be listening to the whole series.

I like Baileigh Higgins and this series is part of the reason why. Rise of the Undead is starting off good. It follows different people and what they go through to get through the apocalypse. Kristen James does a fine job as narrator. I will continue with the next in line.

Not great but not bad for a ZA story. Decent characters, reasonable story lines, sometimes gory but gratuitous sex free and don't remember any cursing.

I really liked the characters well most of the characters I enjoyed the peak into the brain of the zombies from their perspective. there was hope against the odds that kept me wanting to move forward in the story it was still deep and moving. looking forward to enjoying the rest of this series.

Overall I really enjoyed listening to this zombie apocalypse series of six books. The characters we’re interesting, and the story itself had many twists and turns. I enjoy zombies, especially stories written by women that have both strong female and male characters. There was the odd strange turn of phrase or word usage, but it didn’t bother me much. As for the narration, some of the voices were well done (Dylan, Saul) and some were horrible (Tara, Amanda). Overall I recommend this series if you are into zombies!

The virus has struck and zombies are everywhere. Dylan is bitten and has 72 hours to get to Ft Knox to receive the cure, if alive and dead people will let her.

I am not convinced this is the most well-thought-out Zombie Event, but the character-building and general storyline is entertaining. The narrator is very solid, and that is huge when it comes to Audiobooks. Some very quality books/series are ruined by poor narration, which isn't the case here. I would recommend this to those people who enjoy the Zombie Genre.
