Exciting Continuation

The continuation of the series does not disappoint! The already great characters continue to develop and become even more well-rounded. Although there is a large cast of characters, they are managed well so it doesn’t become overwhelming to the reader. I’m excited for each character’s journey and part played in the story. I’m always worried about which characters might be injured or killed in battle.

Possible spoiler—Although, one thing I didn’t like was the quick treatment of a certain scene, where Braden gets off way too easily with Mika (re: old flame). But that’s a stretch, and didn’t affect my enjoyment of the story and characters.

vulgar sexism issue

I've been loving these books, but in book 5 you decided to call a female wolfoid a bitch. The year now is currently 2023, these books were not written that long ago. You are well aware that bitch no longer means the Old English word, what's worse is these wolves are humanoids. It's inappropriate to call people a bitch in such a fashion as you did. It was not a character speaking it was the narrator speaking of the characters, that character being a female. I found it highly inappropriate. So inappropriate I wrote this review for The political incorrectness of that behavior. We defeated the British long long long long long long long ago, it's wrong to call people bitch. It is bully behavior and that is not the language of our modern times. Please correct your behavior in any future episodes. Thank you.

I loved the verity of animals used in this book.

I have read over 100 authors. Most stay away from bring a zoos worth of animals into the story as a characters! It is refreshing to read and have critters in there!
