Publisher's summary

Queen Takes Jaguars: Mayte has spent the last century increasing her power as queen of House Zaniyah by calling more Blood to her side. She loves her jaguar protectors, but even her alpha hasn't been able to give her a child. Without a daughter to continue the queendom, their line - and the Zaniyah power - will die out. She needs a god to sire her daughter, and for a queen who calls jaguars as Blood...only one god will do.

Queen Takes Darkness: Helayna Ironheart doesn't know where she is, or how long she's been trapped in the darkness. She only knows pain and horror when her captor feeds on her suffering. Her only hope is to access her power as an Aima vampire queen. But how can she call her guardian Blood, when she's trapped in an alternative dimension at the bottom of the world tree?

hmmmm

So of course I love the Narrator's and the Author but I was wondering are this all samples? I felt like some of these where of course short stories but the others like for example Queen Takes Darkness seems to be more of a sample. So of these audiobooks are Samples to what to come great but I do know that I might be wishful thinking and they are all short stories.
Queen takes jaguar was slow and only got good at towards the end. I felt that was like Joely wasn't really feeling this story so she made it short.
I'm a fan of this series and I still hope Joely keep giving us fans more of our Queen.

A touch of beastiality

This author has no boundaries in her sex scenes. It's all written tastefully but not for folks who object to her ideas of consensual vs not-exactly-consensual. As usual, both narrators exceed expectations.

Great stories

I wish these stories were longer and full books. Especially the darkness and more Isidore.

I love getting the extras!!!

The fact that were let in even more to this delicious story set my heart alight!!! I love getting more of the parts we miss in the main story. Getting to know the Queen and her blood on a deeper level is just as enjoyable as the tortuous wait for the next full book! And really she (the author) is only human even being a queen in her own right needs a break and guess what life happens to her also and we should never assume to know what is going on in anyone's life outside of their writing. I, for one, am happy to have anything this author writes and I devoured it as quickly as possible! Thanks for awesome book and I can't wait for the next one 🦄 I am sad there is no rino emoji! Keep writing Queen Joely we love you! ❤

Loved listening!

A big fan of Joely Sue here so I read this book a few years ago and hadn't left a review apparently. This is Mayte her story how she finds her Jaguargod. She knows she Ed's to have the God in order to concede a child. Her blood help her in everything and do what they can to find him. Loved hearing the voices too and I've listened to the whole series multiple times! The Queen takes Darkness is another book by Joely but set in the same world. This is Helayna her story. Shara manages to reach out and tells her to call her blood. She is trapped in eternal darkness but does as she says. She gets answered but by what? They are different but what exactly? And can she escape the coils of the enormous snake? Or is she going to die? Also Queen takes more: You wanted more right? I know i did. I admit it and some tales were released before but it's nice to get them in this compilation. I truly love this entire series and we do get a story of Okeanos. I love all the stories and this one does not disappoint. If you are like me more is never enough.

I really do not understand why this Author went..

I do not understand why the Author went with this?
Its a bunch of short stories that were kinda a waist.
I personally have been waiting for the book to this series and this eas just a bunch of stuff that didn't add anything to the series. It just isn't needed. Not when we have to wait so long in between cliffhanger books for the next book to arrive.
It's really annoying and frustrating to be honest. I did finish this inky because there was nothing better to listen to.
I really hope this Author releases more book after this and soon.
