I was not expecting the amazing story that she unfolded. without giving away which would spoil the readers listening. she has an amazing ability to draw the listener in to story and to characters that makes you one and not stop listening no matter what you're doing. this is the fourth book that I've listened to and I'm already starting on the 5th. she is that good. I'm so thankful that she keeps the biblical framework intact and weaves the characters that aren't in the original history around it without disturbing the actual history of the written word. and I have to say the person that she has reading the book has an amazing ability to bring her words to life in an excellent way

Don't miss out on this amazing biblical fiction. Sometime we tend to forget that the characters in the Bible were also just human. But this book just reminded me again that Adonai is so part of our lives as well. The narrator was brilliant.

a true love story between Solomon and his Queen Bride even with all his other wives and concubines. I think that was a sign of not being so wise in that situation!
