Didn’t know what to expect

I actually didn’t know who Philip K Dick was until I stared,listening to science fiction short story podcasts and like the stores. I liked the idea of not having to listen to all the podcast ads. I liked the variety of stories he wrote. I have heard the performer before and like his voice and presentations.

Some really fine stories well performed

Kevin Killavay does a decent job narrating the stories in this collection. His voice is not that of a mature American male but of an American male in his early to mid twenties. Some of the stories are over acted as if he were in a community theatre company. As to the stories, most are very fine, illuminating, interesting and some are disturbing.

the book was.....

it's kind of hard to understand or keep up with the story you kind of get lost if you're not paying attention. this is one of the books you must pay attention to each word or you will get lost in the story, and not in a good way.

It's PKD what's not to love

a bunch of short stories from PKD. Well worth a credit. It's easy to have a few favorites in this compilation.

I Love Philip K. Dick's Writing But...

I'm not sure whether or not it's the stories or the narration, but every one of the stories is so predictable, that I know the ending way before it happens. I do think the narrator does not help in some cases in that his reading gives things away way too early.
