A great story stands the rest of time

I enjoyed this classic book and it had the spirit of Spain within its words. The fact that it was compressed was perfect for a train ride! It had all the great details ! The narrator was excellent.

Great way in

This adapted version is a great way to get into a formidable classic and enjoy the experience. I am not an expert of course but I think I understand the timelessness of the story and the personality revealed. I can converse intelligently about the themes.

A spitted energized reader

The spitted energized reader and a fresh retelling of a classic conquest!! Enjoyed the abridged reading.

Enjoyable!

I had attempted to read an unabridged version of Don Quixote.. I found it amusing, but hard to get through. I've always intended to read it though. This abridged version was exactly what I needed. It was very enjoyable and easy to get through. I did not love the narrator's choices though. He mispronounces Quixote almost every time he says it. That was irritating, but I overall think this is a good version.

Best narrator ever

This was an absolute pleasure to listen to. The story was great and the narrator was absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend it.
