aif you enjoyed the ranger's apprentice series you'll enjoy this too. A few returning characters and alot of new ones. Plus kore insight into the lives of the Scandanavians

just as good as rangers apprentice

I wondered if the author would be able to separate this story from rangers apprentice and he did with no problem. having the same narrator made it hard to separate the stories but he is such a good narrator, he pulled it up off. starting book 2 now!

very well done

I never read the Ranger's Apprentice series, but watched it circulate heavily in my library. I chose to start with Brotherband Chronicles as I was browsing new releases in Audible for my commute (I hook my Kindle up) and decided it was time to see what the craze was about. I have to say the storytelling was great and I look forward to downloading the next one.

This is a great series for lovers of adventure/light fantasy. John Keating reads it well!

Wonderful!

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this one required the time. I was hesitant to start this series due my bias toward The Ranger’s Apprentice series and assuming this series wouldn’t meet the high expectations I had. I was wrong. The characters and story arc pulled me in just as much, if not more, as The Ranger’s Apprentice series. John Keating’s performance reading this story are superb in making each character feel unique. I can’t recommend this book and this narrator enough!

Great story

I was greatly impressed by this story of the brotherband. I was slightly formulaic but it was also keeping in the tradition of RA.

Great For Young Adventures

This is a great book for everyone who has a sense of adventure. If you like Divergent, or the Hunger Games you’ll like this book series. Great for a starter series for kids getting into bigger books

Maybe I it's the draw of the open ocean! Though both are different, this series rivals the ranger series... Keating has hit his stride with this series!
