"Excellent ending to a good series"
Decent love story
Same flavor as the Mortal Instruments series by Casandra Clare. Not in plot, but in intensity and character development.. the love story components have a similar flavor of struggle to them
the struggle with the locals when they are tied down and they both almost die. That wasn't even part of the main plot, but it fit right in and scared me a bit to think they might actually die. I love that....the unexpected and when an author is not afraid to kill of characters or at least make you think that.
All of the chase scenes were pretty intense and there were quite a few. You think they're safe only to have another problem come up. The inner struggles of her boyfriend in dealing with his father dying and his own imprisonment... deep for a YA. The Love story is pretty powerful to. It's an interesting view on the afterlife.
Really good resolution to a good YA paranormal love story.
