Jaye Wells
Heralded author Jaye Wells has staked out a treasured place on readers’ shelves with her breathtaking tales of urban fantasy. Silver-Tongued Devil features Wells’ popular creation, heroine Sabina Kane: outcast, assassin, and magnet to supernatural species.
When a string of murders threatens to stall negotiations between the mages and vampires, Sabina leaps into the fray. But the more she learns, the more she realizes that there are dark forces stirring. And the killer in her sights might be more than capable of shutting her down - for good.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, although it would be best to start with book one for continuityIt is a good stand alone story with many interesting characters
Who was your favorite character and why?
I always like Sabina as she has the internal struggles to deal withWhat did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
As usual Holloway mispronounces away but it seems to be a bit less here.If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Tragedy and triumph in equal measureA good story and series progression

Silver-Tongued Devil was action packed through and through. It had me on the seat of my pants the whole way. As a matter of fact, Christen from Goldilox and the Three Weres was hounding me and Jennifer from The Book Nympho to hurry up and finish this book. She was dying to talk to someone about this read-a-long installment. LOL!
Every time I thought “shit hit the fan” or had a jaw dropped moment, there was more…and then more…and then more. So much happened in this book, so many surprises that this is by FAR my favorite book of the series.
Sabina is in a great place in her life, for the first time. Sabina and Adam’s relationship has flourished and they’re doing great. I’m happy for them, but I have to say that I feel like I missed something there. All of the sudden they are head over heels in LOVE! This is great by the way, but I wish I was able to see more of their love developing, how they came to living together, etc.
Relationships are tested over and over in this one. Sabina and Adam have a VERY bumpy ride in this book, as well as Sabina and Maisie, Giguhl and PW (Pussy Willow), Georgia and Mac, the list goes on. Maisie is still struggling to come to terms with what happened in New Orleans. She’s not the same person and likely will never be.
STD (hehe) had sex, murder, mystery, love and fighting. There was roller derby, Pussy Willow, sadness, defeat and victory. This book had me all over the map and yelling out things like ”I knew it” and “Oh $hit”. I don’t want to spoil it all as I will be discussing more in my read a long post but this is a MUST READ in the series. I can’t wait to see how it all ends!
My favorite of the series!
