A true leader

What did you like best about this story?

That Lucien truly loves his partners and friends. He will do about anything to help them. I think Anya is a wonderful character and I like it when she gives up everything to save Lucien even though she is the goddess of anarchy.

Which character – as performed by Max Bellmore – was your favorite?

Lucien is one of my favorite in this series and Bellmore bring both his strength and his compassion through his tone. Lucien doesn't have to shout to be heard, but he always get to the point.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not extreme, but I can't wait until Cronus gets his.

What did you love best about The Darkest Kiss?

I enjoy urban fantasy, and erotica so this pretty much covers it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love all the characters they are very different from many other's in urban fantasy.

What does Max Bellmore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He's wonderful at voices, and emotions. I can't imagine anyone else doing the series

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It is an erotic para normal novel series, and this is the first book of the series. I like urban fantasy, and this covers it pretty good. The erotica also is pretty heavy so if you're not looking for that then pass this series by. It will only get more intense as each book progresses. I did enjoy the story and have continued through the entire series.Also there is some very intense and graphic depictions of torture. Each book has something along those lines. After all were dealing with demons.

Even Better Than the First

Passion, romance, and sacrifice! With a wonderful continuation of the adventure from the first book. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. I'm intrigued to find out how the series will end. I'm not an avid romance novel reader, but these ones have me hooked. Can't wait till my next credit is available so that I can get the next one.

Very boring romance

The story was still good but the romance was SO BORING. It's basically a make out book with lots of brooding

This is defiantaly a book you should not listen to aloud around others unless you are in a rated R setting. It is hot and sexy throughout!
That aside the story flows well but toward the middle and end you end up getting four stories in one which makes it a little hard to follow at times. And that damn music audible wants to play drives me crazy!
Overall I really did enjoy the book and story and it keep me on edge till the end.
