Powerful

This powerful reading of Corrie ten Boom's horrific experiences at the hands of the Nazis deeply moved me. She was a true woman of God living into his Word.

Great story

I cried several times in this book, not because of the trails of the author, or her sister, but b/c of the goodness or God. The narrator was very good tho very smooth and soothing voice even during some of the harder parts of the story. Great book; it always had me thinking human thoughts, but then God would speak and I find myself not worthy and still, Christ choose to die for me. Thank you Jesus. I am currently in Europe and would love to visit her home in Netherlands I heard it was an amazing tour not a regular walk-through of her home.

Amazingly painful and beautiful

I’m so impressed with the detail that is recalled in this beautiful woman’s history. A history that is painful yet important for us to hear, and beautiful in the way she and her family reacted to such hatred. This family is the pinnacle of role models for Christians.

Powerful

This book is a recount of an evil history of mankind and the love and faith of the few. If we can all listen and absorb the suffering and meaning that these poor people went through maybe we can not repeat the horrors of the past

The horrors that these people went through and yet their faith grew and grew. They became not just Christians but disciples of God. It’s the type of person that I would like to become
