must have, must read

This is a must-have book for any young woman and any woman for that matter. I wish I would have had this book many years ago. As I sit here listening to it , still single and 50 years old I see all of the things I did wrong all of the red flags that I should have seen before they turned into disaster. Even if you're in a relationship this book can help you to deal with issues that may arise or to see issues before they become big issues.
After listening to this audiobook I am purchasing the hardback so I may have all the references and lists that she suggest that you make. Must have

loved it!

I was disappointed in a positive way. The title made me think the book would be more gender neutral. I like Patti (Author) so don't want this to sound to negative. This book was written by a woman for women. FEMALES: If you are looking for a book that tells you step by step how to go from meeting a man to marriage, this is book is well written with lots of stories. MEN: Patti knows what she is talking about, for both men and women. The book is worth the read/listen to. Especially if you want to know that the other side is being taught. As a man I did get some ahha's, but had to pay attention because it was all aimed toward the female... Hope this helps.

If you’re single and you want wonderful and solidly relationship. This book provides excellent advice.

A good read

This was my first book on relationships and I found it to be surprisingly funny, easy to follow, easy to listen to and in some instances even easy to relate to. She establishes some "rules of the game" that range from common sense to absurdity (If you are unlucky enough to have been born with curly hair and are not willing to straighten it regularly... sorry! You might as well have signed a contract for maidenhood with the universe!).

My opinion: it is a good audiobook for all of us who find themselves without a loving partner (my husband died and now that I am ready to face the dating world again I find myself without any idea of what do to or how to go about doing it) but wanting to find one. Just be prepared to laugh at a few of just plain outrageous statements and just pick the advice that suits your personality. She does give good advice and good ideas! Overall I recommend this audiobook.
