Great sweetly spicy romance

This audiobook was very entertaining, and I enjoyed the characters, story and narration. Highly recommend this book!

Exciting and Enlightening

A man who never felt loved finds love on the ranch he never wanted to see again. This was a great story and very well written and read.

Have you listened to any of Jennifer O'Donnell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've never listened to this narrator before but thought she did an amazing job voicing the characters especially the little kids. She was able to switch from the wholesome parts to the steamy with ease.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The story is a wonderful mix of love, romance,and family. It gets steamy without being vulgar.

I'll definitely be buying the next book in the series. Wow!

Good story, good narration

I enjoyed listening to this book. There is enough romance and intrigue to keep the reader interested.

Reluctant Rancher

It was a pretty tame story. The worst conflict was the grandfather's will. The kid was an annoying brat more often than not. Precocious in the extreme. If I never hear a child say "pretty please" again, it'll be too soon! Someone needs to have a firm hand with that child or she'll run roughshod over everyone by the time she's 10, lol.

Can't wait until I can get the next one.

This book kept you reading. Wanting to know who the people are and why the old man changed so much. Would recommend it to others.

What disappointed you about Her Reluctant Rancher?

The narrator read this romance novel like she was reading a childrens book. Was not able to get into it at all or connect with the characters because it all sounded very fake.

I've really tried!

I have really tried to like this author but can't even get that far. I started with the Diamondback Ranch series but could not take the narrator, Erin Mallon. By the second book I actually returned it because I was so irritated. Thought I would try with the next series but again the narrator was so bad I couldn't even finish the second chapter. Maybe it's me cuz others seem to really like it. I was disappointed but it was because of the narration. Sorry!
