Publisher's summary

Bordeauxnuts is New York City magic, and it all belongs to Jamie Tolliver. A charming coffee and doughnut spot by day, Bordeauxnuts transforms with a sprinkle of powdered sugar into a cozy sophisticated wine bar each evening. Jamie’s enjoying a blueberry latte with her quirky band of regulars when a stunning and enigmatic stranger saunters in, flips her laptop open, and Jamie’s world upside down.

Each time Jamie speaks to Leighton Morrow, her crush multiplies. She’s drawn to Leighton's captivating presence, her kindness, and the faint lip print she leaves on her cup that winds a tingle up Jamie’s spine.

But sexy spine tingles can be deceiving.

Leighton Morrow didn’t set out to ruin anyone’s life, but she has a job to do. As a development coordinator for Carrington’s Department Store, Leighton’s part of the team that plans to take over the city block for the new location, including demolishing her new favorite café, Bordeauxnuts. A shame, but that’s life. She’ll miss the apple fritters and the cute owner. But work is a No Feelings Zone and she definitely cannot give in to the ones she has percolating for Jamie. Leighton and Jamie have all the ingredients to turn their attraction into love, but it’s a recipe for disaster.

She does it again!

Each and every book by Melissa Brayden is an adventure. I literally feel the emotions as if they were my own. Her characters are so in depth, storyline excellent and the narrator choices are some of the best in the business. You will not be disappointed with this title, or ANY of her others.

Melissa always delivers feels

This tortured love story will slowly tear your heart apart. The characters are so well put together and so lovable that you feel vested in their story. And begging for them to find their way to each other .

nailbitter

If holding your breath for hours at a time is your thing, this is your book. Never before have I worried about the ending to a story like I did with this one. This is Melissa Brayden at her finest. Do yourself a favor and buy the text copy. The narraton was aweful.

Fun

It's a sweet love story with a happy ending. There are a handful of complications in between, of course, to keep it interesting. I'd recommend it.

Another Grand Slam

You Had Me At Merlot is another in a long line of outstanding stories by Melissa Brayden. I love her characters and the way she starts with a love at first sight that the two involved have to then take a long hard road to turn into reality. Also loved the 'honorable' mention of characters from her Tangle Valley series, which is what got me hooked on her storytelling (Addicted, more like). Huge Thank You to the author!

Beautiful story!

This was a wonderful story! The love story alone was excellent! The blending of characters from some of my most favorite stories was an added bonus. Jessica and Brooklyn, Courtney and Maggie, and of course Helen from Turning Point!

Jamie and Leighton had so much chemistry and their friendship/ relationship was off the charts!

Any chance for Helen to have a book of her own? Lula Larkin as usual was exceptional in the narration of the book! Well done!

Awesome ride!

Looking for fantastic MCs, a lovable supporting cast, great plot, and witty dialogue? This book is for you! If you’re like me and have listened to every book Ms Brayden has written, there are countless favorite characters from other books and Easter eggs galore! Ms Larkin brought all the characters and action to life with her brilliant narration. I absolutely recommend this book.

Sad

I typically like Brayden’s character development and dialogue - this book is no departure. But this one is just so… sad. The characters repeatedly deny themselves a chance at joy, and it’s hard to be happy for them once they do get together because they’ve jerked each other around so much for so long. When the book was over, I was relieved but not content.

Boring

I usually like Melissa Brayden’s books, but this one was boring… Narration this time didn’t help the book at all.

Worst performance ever.

I couldn’t listen to this book even though I had paid for it. The reader was abysmal.
