Great feeling of LAmour family

reunion like tapestry to unveil the stories and tell of there beginnings. Very old and well loved writings. Enjoyed it all.

Glorious Glorious

Great mix of narrators, never had a La’mour short stories collection with multiple narrators, I think they hit a home run both performance wise and the intro openings to the stories were great additions. I had read yondering years before and I didn’t appreciate the stories for what they were. I can say that the audio format was better than reading them myself. And that as a man in my 30s I appreciate these stories more than in my 20s and will certainly be keeping this one. I used the title for one of his stories as the title to this review not because of the story itself but because this collection of stories simply is Glorious. My all time favorite that’s not one of his westerns , yet still is a western is The Haunted Mesa and I have been waiting for years for them to create it in an audiobook, fingers crossed that the mention of it in this review will be felt by the La’mour family and audible , as a clue we want it in audio format. Owe and Bendigo Shafter as well , thanks and I hope this review was helpful.

Don't expect a western, this is sea faring

Short stores, pretty good, lots of filler - not Louis L'Amour's usual Western fare. The last 1 plus hours is commentary, not stories. Commentary between the stories too. The reminiscing by Louis L'Amour mildly interesting.

Definitely not his best work

I love L'amour's books, but this one, I couldn't even finish. Maybe because it's comprised of dozens of 10- minute stories: it's very choppy, and has no depth of story like the majority of his books.
