Publisher's summary

In her 30s and living with her hot gay roommate, Julian, while her uncaring boyfriend, Shane floats around her periphery, Ashley Callahan's life is one big mess that she doesn't have a clue how to fix.

When a night out in town that Ashley didn't really want to go on in the first place leads her right to Trevor, a hot guy with a wide social circle and a promising career in theatre and arts, she feels an instant connection with him.

But are they real feelings or just infatuation?

When Trevor tells her he has a girlfriend, Ashley is devastated.

She doesn't think she'll see him again which is fine until she bumps into him at another one of her boyfriend's events. Trevor insists that they stay in touch and be friends.

Ashley knows in her heart of hearts that she wants more than that, so she's faced with a few daunting hurdles in order to make her desires a reality.

A tough listen

Ashley's life is a mess and this book is the long story of how she tries, in completely inane ways, to make it better. Frankly, she is so insipid that I just couldn't care how it comes out.

Emotional, smooth flowing and beautiful!

Ashley’s never really been anyone’s first priority, certainly not her boyfriend Shane’s. Then one night she meets Trevor, handsome, popular, caring Trevor! Can what starts out as friendship ever be more? “Yes, Maybe, No”, beautifully answers that question for Ashley, Trevor, and all of us who’ve ever been hurt, betrayed, or disappointed by love, and may be hesitant about trying again. I don’t want to play spoiler by giving away any of the plot details of this beautifully emotional, smooth flowing story, but I will confess to being so invested in Ashley that my heart was in my throat, afraid that she would be hurt again! I found that I actually cared! She was real to me! I have to say that ALL of the characters in this story felt real! They were perfectly developed and I came to know them so well I was able to form a clear opinion on who I’d like to have in MY life, and who I’d like to treat to an all expense paid trip to the pine barrens! The narration that brought Ashley and Trevor’s story to life was beautiful, vibrant and emotional. Listening was a pleasure filled, perfect, five star experience!
