Amazing Tips!
What I liked most about the book is that it’s great for a beginner like me who’s planning to write great lyrics. It has a step to step guide on how you can go about it and write amazing lyrics that people will love listening to. I have really enjoyed the tips by Susan to a point I had to use a paper and pen to write them down. Am hoping to put all the music that I have using the great lyrics tips that I have gotten. If you’re planning or wondering how to write great lyrics for your song, then this is your go to book. Highly recommended!

A great step by step guide
I enjoyed reading the book and now the audio book has enhanced my re-reads. Susan takes the time to explain how your mindset before you even begin to write is important. The narrator does a fantastic job of bringing the book to life.
The exercises are very helpful and it is as very nice to have constant encouragement. If you’re looking for songwriting motivation, this is your book!

Wonderful Easy to Follow Directions
I had read the book but I am an auditory learner so this audio release was much more helpful for me. I got a lot more out of listening to it. I plan to apply these specialized writing techniques to the song I am working on.
I intend to listen to it again a couple more times as I work through the process of revising my lyrics.
I enjoyed her straightforward way of addressing techniques to keep your mind working on the project without getting too fatigued or stressed. I am applying them to my day-to-day workload. They seem to make the work feel lighter and less taxing.

Great Audiobook
This book was extremely helpful, it showed a great step by step approach to writing great lyrics. Songwriters at any level can use this audiobook to improve their lyrics. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to learn how to write song lyrics because it is a fully comprehensive guide to writing great song lyrics that will make your songs much better.

Mostly General Advice for a Productive Life
I had written and performed about 20 songs before listening to this title. The advice did not really offer much to improve my song writing in my opinion. The performance was very good, and the author's yoga and mindfulness books are probably the areas where she shines.
