Unexpected

Wireless.
I selected this audio book and thought it would be like the Easytown novels by same genre, of androids in the near future. It is but different.
A little too much self reflection and thought process for me.
But a good read nonetheless.
Warning it is not an action book . rather a slow burn,

Interesting lives this Android has lived

This is the first book i have read/listened to by this author and I am keen to listen to another. I am curious what the first two books are about. Not having read them did not really create an issue. I am sure a few parts would have become clearer to me sooner if i would have known the background info, but for the most part, I did not have any issues understanding this book. Having not listen to any previous books, it was also an interesting twist for me to find that the android has essentially lived three lives.

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Allison Hart ) and I would listen to another. She did well voice acting. She uses a variety of voices and puts emotion into her characters. Her style never allowed me to forget I was being read to (mostly due to her choice for the voice of Trisha), yet I still enjoyed listening.

There are no explicit sex scenes, or excessive violence. There is some swearing.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this unbiased review.
