Publisher's summary

Rafe Connors is losing it, taking crazy risks and starting bar fights just to keep his wolf sane. One rainy night, he goes too far, and an angry posse runs him off the road into a ravine. Left for dead, Rafe is rescued by a mysterious white wolf shifter, who tends to his wounds and then disappears.

Terin Whitney has no memory of her childhood or the trauma that stole her past. Ever since her human protector died, she's survived on her own. She can't forget the breathtaking man she saved, but all her instincts tell her she needs to stay out of sight or the danger she escaped in the past will find her in the present.

When Rafe encounters a group of poachers hunting Terin, he knows he has to find her first. But his gentle, artistic lone wolf is terrified of leaving her isolated cabin and relying on strangers for protection.

Rafe will wait as long as it takes to win Terin's trust - and her love. But with the hunters closing in, Terin will have to find the courage to listen to her heart or risk losing everything.

Contains mature themes.

Cute

This one was mysterious! There is a cliffhanger to the ghost wolfs past, but Emma’s past ex comes back into play in a round about watching. I don’t know if the series is meant to give snippets of detail until the final book or not, but I wish there was more. However, everything was cute about this love story! 17+

Rafe and Terin

An exciting, suspenseful and highly intense journey to go on with Rafe and Terin. These two were absolutely cute together. I enjoyed every moment of this story.

Good story, but....

This was a good story. But absolutely ruined by the narrator pronouncing Rafe as Rafey. Unbelievably bad. This narrator is best suited for female voices only, as well.

Is his name actually Ray-Fee??

I’ve gotten used to this narrator and usually just overlook her bored tone but the pronunciation of Rafe is really irritating especially since it’s pronounced in the expected way in the first book. The story itself is pretty good.

Raf-E...Eye-Roll

This book would have been so much better with a different narrator. The fact she kept pronouncing Rafe's name as Raf-E, like she was saying raft without the "t" but with a long "EEEE" was so annoying I wanted to stab myself in my ears. Seriously, just no. Find out how to pronounce words and names before you read for Audible.
I liked the book ok. Terin got on my nerves a bit at times with her, I am not a damsel in distress, but I want to be rescued persona. She did and said some really eye-roll worthy things. The ending was a bit of a let down in that you don't find out anything about her past.
I may get the next book, but I really can't stand Kane and I think he is in a lot of the next one that is on Audible, so I don't know.

RAFY?

In book #1, she pronounced Rafe with a long a and a silent e. In this book #2 she uses the long a, but changes the silent to a long e. Sounds like a cutesy nickname. Otherwise, the book is very good.

Narration inconsistencies

Same narrator as book 1, but she couldn’t pronounce the male lead’s name this time? Rafe was a big character in book 1, she said his name many times in that one, but his name is pronounced totally different now? What’s it going to be in book 3?

Big peeve.
