Publisher's summary

When badass werewolves battling supernatural evil realize they need tech support, they recruit a group of geeks with hilarious—and romantic—results.

Chemist Josh Collier is having a blast at a comic book convention when he gets the shock of his life—he’s a werewolf! WTF? Before he can howl, he’s whisked away to a secret lair by Nero, a hot guy dressed as a Roman centurion. Josh’s former life is over, and his genius is needed at Wulf, Inc.

Nero has no interest in babysitting a trainee were-geek when he’d rather be killing the demon that wiped out his entire pack. While Josh analyzes the monster’s weapon, wild passion ignites between him and Nero.

With destiny and their pack in the balance, can they survive the demon out to destroy Wisconsin?

Next installment, please!

This book was just what I hoped - cute premise, enjoyable characters, hot sex scenes, some feels. What's not to like?! I'd love to listen to the next book in the series whenever it becomes available.

Love it! Can't wait for the next one.

Interesting story, fun to listen to and good sex scenes 😉 What's not to like, just add werewolves.
Can't wait for the next installment on Audible.

Where is the next in the series??

This fantastic m/m novel is a slow to build romance not filled with too many sex chapters. You get a great mix of the “brains vs brauns” but in a lighthearted way.

My sad point is that there is no news on the second installment!!!

What a surprise!

Wow! This really caught me off guard, and was a much needed breath of fresh air. Many books I’ve read like this, usually read like indulgent fan fiction fantasies where the author so clearly wants to be the main character that you sometimes struggle to separate them at all. But this was everything I could have wanted. Fantastic characters, humor that lands and isn’t forced, and unique world building in a genre that tends to blend together. I genuinely want to know more about this world, even without the adorable relationships!

A lot going on

This is a very different shifter story, even though it is similar in concept to other paranormal law enforcement books. But unlike most shifter books, the characters who become wolves are not happy about it, which you can't really blame them for since they are being held prisoner. The initial interactions are violent and full of anger. It felt like maybe too much jammed into one book and it left me disconnected from the MCs. I wasn't really rooting for their relationship and most of the book isn't about their relationship. Josh is also difficult to like, though it was nice in some respects to have a geeky guy who isn't a fearful pushover. But he spends most of book angry, unhappy about being a wolf, plotting to escape, and hating on Nero, until he suddenly decides it was better than his old life. Nero is also kind of a dick for reasons that did not make sense. I may have just been expecting a different story. I expected something cute and funny with geeky wolves. This is not that book, but there are a lot of sci-fy references.

ehhh

this could have been a really good book. the concept was okay but the story was very haphazardly done. I know that these are romances and there should be sex scenes but they were extremely unnecessary with the amount of them. there really wasn't much character development
