Last year; he celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary, had a good job he liked, and a home for retirement he built himself.

Fortunately, his luck is about to change.

Enter Vincent, an extraterrestrial visitor with a crucial mission to save both our world and his, and a lesson on just how small Jim's place in the universe is.

Creative and intense

Vincent is a creative and intense book that involves aliens, humans, saving planets and to top it off a romance. Vincent was sent to Earth to retrieve a key that would help his people and along the way he found Jim, Claire and Adir to help with his quest.
I loved how descriptive and detailed orientated the author was throughout the book it really help paint the story. The author did a wonderful job in the development of the relationship between two of the characters. The book went along at a decent pace. I loved the action and I am looking forward to reading/ hearing from this author.
I received this audio book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review here.

Close Encounters of the Vincent Kind

'Vincent' is an alien encounter novel featuring Jim, a middle-aged man who has recently divorced and lost his job. While forced to live on the street, he meets Vincent, an alien on a mission to Earth to retrieve a device that can save his planet. Along with Claire and Amir, Jim assists Vincent on this mission.

This short novel is a fun, uncomplicated story about finding a new purpose to life after thinking all is lost. Jim assists Vincent on his quest and in the meantime realizes his life can be fuller than he ever dreamed possible. And, he gets a second chance at love too! The adventures the characters find themselves on are interesting and entertaining. There's also plenty of room left for Meyer to give readers more exciting tales about Vincent and Jim. I look forward to any sequel that may come in the future.

John McLoughlin's narration is good. His style emphasized the lightness of the writing.

I requested a review copy of this audiobook from the author, after listening to his Al Clark series. I am now leaving this voluntary opinion of 'Vincent'.

Recommended.
