This story was interesting I like the story line but the narrator lost the Russian accent so many times with the different character but I like

Wrong Place Wrong Time

This is a story of a black female name Alia worked and live in a bad place and she see a murder and the men chased her to a private club. She meet Viktor a Russian and owner of the club and he let her stay. OK story of good Russian protect black female from bad Russian. Melissa Barr did an ok performance

Different but enjoyable

A solitary, caring all around good guy alpha male who thought he was incapable of falling in love. A young women who has always taken care of and put otbers before herself are thrust together unexpectedly.

Great book!

Love the story line. Wish there was a part two. Show how their life changed as a married couple.

An okay story

The story was okay. Was not a fan of the narrating. The characters fell just flat of being 4 dimensional. Maybe with a different narrator, the story would have been better.

Great narrator

I loved the storyline. The narrator did a great job with the characters. When I thought it would go 1 way, it went another. I just wished there was a sequel to this story.

WONDERFUL bwwm love story. Page turner!

This was a wonderful treat. A well written love story of people that HAPPEN to fall for each other (of course lust came first) Alpha male with a good heart.. Mixed with conflicts, danger, prejudice and old world views. This Vktor is a REAL MAN that does what he wants. A total rare find. I am always looking for well written bwwm love/lust/sex audible stories.. I will definitely buy more Susan Westwood audible stories about Russian lovers.. Yummy.. Nothing like having diverse looking characters in stories so i can imagine my chocolate self in the environment. Wish other writers would add one or two women of (darker) color in the audible stories ( either as a friend or distant relative of main character atleast) This story was a "chance meeting" between the two main characters and the male lead ( handsome anglo Viktor) felt the need to help a female is distress. 2 thumbs up.. Great action, mystery and suspense.. ..Great story in general!!!!!!!

Cringed While Listening to the Narration

The narrator's voice didn't go with the story line and made it unbelievable. Also Aliyah was a very frustrating character. She made stupid decisions. For instance, the fire scene. Why did she sit in the middle of the kitchen instead of going to the door like an adult would do? What was the back story on her reaction? Other scenes where she was threatened and running for her life, she would power off her phone instead of calling for help. This character was so dumb and tiresome. I didn't like the book overall.

Disappointed - Read better

Intrigued with fantasy story line but disappointed with typical ending. Needs a rewrite for this day in time.
